On June 4, Evgeny Scherbinin, Director of Prime Source, met with Anatoliy Kremenchutskiy, Head of the Kazakhstan-India Centre of Excellence in Information and Communication Technology (IKCEICT).
IKCEICT is one of the few centers in Kazakhstan equipped with the PARAM-BILIM supercomputer, which supports large-scale scientific computation in aerodynamics, physics, seismology, meteorology, genetics, engineering design and many other fields that require high performance. The supercomputer’s ultra-high speed is achieved through the parallel operation of many processors.
The participants of the meeting discussed plans to develop cooperation between the two organizations and talked about including Prime Source in the consortium working on the Param-Bilim supercomputer. During the conversation, the heads of the organizations touched on training the company’s employees in one of the main trends in the development of modern computing technologies — parallel data processing.
“In a world where the speed and number of interactions are constantly increasing and reaction time is approaching zero, the ability to perform tasks in parallel rather than sequentially is the key to success. Knowledge of parallel data processing will make our clients’ business tasks simpler and faster and our solutions more practical and accessible, increasing productivity many times over”, commented Evgeny Scherbinin.
