How the Digital Kazakhstan state programme will change

The state of emergency increased the load on every tool of Kazakhstan’s digital life. Above all, the load grew on internet networks, online learning and eGov (the e-government portal).

Now the mistakes are being worked through. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has proposed revising the Digital Kazakhstan programme without additional financial outlays, and as a result working groups have been formed to analyze the opportunities and the changes.

The head of one of these expert groups, Prime Source CEO Evgeny Scherbinin, noted that the amendments should provide for steps to further develop the target architecture of Egov, since its operation depends on the information systems of all government bodies. For services to be delivered well and without failures, all core systems must be integrated with and managed by the Egov platform.
